Pussy Willow

A friend's husband trimmed their blossoming pussy willow bush yesterday. When I was at their house last evening he offered me some of the clippings, and I eagerly accepted them! They're now sitting on top of my Great-Great-Uncle's roll top desk, on which also rests my laptop. I'm going to try to root them so that eventually we can have our own pussy willow bushes. But since the only vase I have that was substantial enough to hold them is clear glass, I thought I needed a photo before the water becomes murky. Thank you, Brad for the first evidence of Spring that's now in our house. One of these days I'll refresh some of my winter decorating with other fresh reminders of the finally beautiful weather.
